does anyone have lazy eyelid? allergy related?

Lately, I have been noticing that my right eyelid seems to close split seconds before my left one when I blink.  My fiance says he's always noticed that my one eye was a little "smaller" than the other, it was the first time I'd ever heard anyone say that. I'm almost 29 years old, and grew up with 5 siblings and lots of cousins, and nobody ever told me anything was wrong with my eyes. (Although they've always made fun of me because I sleep with my eyes open.) many times i think my left eye is open, but the right one is closed while sleeping.  I've even seen old video footage of myself, and my eyes blink normally.  I do recall, however, that in some of my pictures in the past, I would be mid blinking and one eyelid would be further down thant the other.  

Right now, when i blink in the mirror, it's even a bit more noticable to me. I'm wondering if anyone knows what this condition could be.  My right eye, the one that is a bit lazy, seems to itch more lately with a little stinging. Also it gets a bit red sometimes.  Could this be allergies? or is this a condition that is growing as i get older.  Is it getting worse and worse? It's really driving me nuts!!! Maybe there is vitamin that I am lacking?  

If anyone has similar issues, or has any answers for me... that would be great!!
