double vision

two weeks ago had double vision surgery done at university of penn showing some slight improvement but not as much as i would like do i just have to wait longer my doctor says he gives me 80 to 90 percent chance it will straighten out stii red eye and little swelling go see him in 2 weeks is this normal with this type of procedure would kindly appreciate an answer as this is very annoying thank you

You do not provide enough information for us to answer your question.  Important issues include the original direction of your eye turn, whether you have had previous eye muscle surgeries, what the exact cause of the problem is, and what type of surgery was performed.  Two weeks is a fairly short amount of time after eye muscle surgery.  I agree with your surgeon - be patient, give healing more time.

thank so much for your reply the double vision is due to multible retina surgerirs and my left eye turned inward  had strabismus with adjustable sutures performed by neuro opthamoligist at penn no previous eye muscle surgery thank you so much for your time
