drugs

I am suspicious that my boyfriend may have used drugs lastnight.  He says his pupils were very dilated due to lack of sleep?  Is this possible?

If you scared or fightened him that could have caused the pupils to dilate in anger/fright due to release of adrenaline (epinephrine) however once he calms down the pupils should return to normal size.

Cocaine based drugs are the most likely to dilate the pupil. Morphine like drugs make the pupil smaller.

Lack of sleep does not cause dilated pupils.
