dry eyes- crystal lens

i am 64 yr old female.  i had lazik surgery 10 yrs ago with good results, had cataracts forming then but they recently got worse.  i opted for the crystal lens implants.  the right one in october 2009 and the left in dec 2009.  recently my right eye has been extra dry and waters all the time.  i use lubricating drops but they just help for a short time.  i have always had dry eyes, but never like this.i have to walk around with a kleenex all the time.    is this a side effect of crystal lens implants.  my vision is ok, but far away is not quite as good as before., but close up is great.  does any one else have this problem.  i wish i had just opted for the regular lens., it cost a lot of money to not be satisfied like this.

I would like to get the crystal lens but scared about the complications. I have 0.5 (distant vision) and 1.25 close (55 years). Do you suggest crystal lens or normal lens

This is not related to the Crystalens.  It would have happened with any implant.  An LRI for astigmatism correction would increase dry eyes.  See your surgeon about possible punctal plugs.
