See an Eye-MD to assess the cause of your dry eye symptoms.  The ophthalmologist can help your general doctor to figure out why you are unwell.  You can find an Eye-MD by going to www.aao.org and using the doctor locator.

If you feel your primary doctor is not responding to your concerns and not communicating with you, you may want to get another opinion.  Although Sjogren syndrome is often treated by a rheumatologist, I would not suggest self-referring to a rheumatologist.  You need a good internist who knows a good rheumatologist.
