Surgery will not make the eye normal but may help some. See strabismus Eye MD. Find one at www.aao.org

My daughter was recently, at 11 months, diagnosed with Duane's Syndrome. She has several other symptoms that I think may be attributable to this condition or perhaps another condition. I would very much appreciate responses regarding possible associations.

On the same side as her affected eye, the right, she has a droopy lower lip during certain expressions. She has what appears to be unprovoked tearing- what I used to think was a blocked lacrimal duct. Lastly, at now 12 months, she has no teeth. While she is "teething"- an upper central incisor is finally descending, there is absolutely no obvious sign of teeth in the lower jaw. She will be seeing a dentist next month.
