duane's syndrome

My 2 year old was just diagnosed with type one duane's symdrome. She is also slightly nearsighted. I was told she will need glasses by time she starts maybe 2nd or 3rd grade, by one physician, and another told me that I should start her in them by time she is in kindergaten. I was wondering if it would be benifical for her to start them now or even as early as preschool. I know they say glasses won't correct or condition, but I don't see how it could not help in some kind of way. At least when she's looking she has something to aim for such as an extra pair of eyes.

Your daughter should be under the care of a pediatric eye MD ophthalmologist. I would go by what he/she says.  You can also use the archives and search feature to read previous posts about Duane's
