eye blinking/squint in toddler

my 3 year old has just recently started blinking & squinting 1 eye only while watching t.v,i ask her if she can see o.k,she says yes mommy,i also called pediatrician recommended an eye doctor to check her eyes,what can i expect on her 1st visit..

Provided you see a physician Eye MD ophthalmologist a medical history family history and a comprehensive medical eye exam to determine if you child has eye disease or needs glasses.

Addendum: the pupils will be dilated with eye drops.
