eye pain

hello sir, i wanna ask about my eye pain. the number of my eye glasses is -1.25.the pain doesn't happen daily or weekly but after a lot of time such as 6 months or 1 year. the area which is affected during this pain is between eyebrow and upper eye lid. it always occur on my left eye. some doctors say that it is migraine and you should sleep when it starts but it is very difficult to sleep in such a state. the intensity of pain is very high. it is a pain  \which changes its intensity with light. i also feel nausea.
i have also examined my eyes but the doctor said that the number is alright, this is migraine.
what do u suggest. thank you

Your pain is not typical of eye disease nor a refractive (glasses) related problem.

Migraine and sinus problems would be high on the list.
