eye problems

I'm 17 years old and never had any vision problems until 8 months ago other than needing new glasses every now and then. over the span of 8 months my eyes have been giving me problems. i see halos around lights, floaters that were never there before, double vision (corrected with my glasses), and two clear curtains over my eyes. I don't know how to describe them. This is a major source of stress for me. Sometimes I can't sleep, im afraid i'll wake and see nothing but pitch black. I went to the eye doctor not long ago and he said all he saw was a few small retinal holes. could these be the problem for ALL these symptoms im having? I need answers. I am scared to death. I cry almost every day about this.

Floaters and holes in the retina:   you should get a second opinion from a retima Eye MD, especially if the "eye doctor" you saw was a non MD non physician optometrist. Fine a retina eye MD at www.aao.org
