eye scar

When visiting the eye dr. she noticed a scar on my son's eye.  She said it did not affect his vision.  Is this something thoat we need to be concerned with?  What could have caused this?

Sorry, not going to be able to tell you much. Where is the scar? Your best bet is to call the doctor's office back and ask for a clarification:  where is the scar? what caused it? will it change? will other scars develop? When does it need to be rechecked?
