eye sparks?

Hey y'all. I was just sitting here at work and rubbed my eyes for a few seconds. Kind of put a bit of force on them. When i opened my eyes i seen all these little sparks /sperm looking things come from the outside in and gone in about seven seconds. Does anyone know what this could be from?

Stop doing that, its not good for your eyes. The light can come from compression of the vitreous and stimulation of the retina due to pressure. It's referred to an an "entopic" phenomena.

I mean i have rubbed my eyes the same way before. Nothing happened like this. Is this just from rubbing eyes or could be something else?

Most likely rubbing eyes. However if reoccurs WITHOUT rubbing eyes see an Eye MD ophthalmologist.
