eye spasms

by Debs0610, Oct 06, 2009 07:50PM
Hello ! I would like your opinion regarding my problem. My right eye started having spasms on the lid around September last year and it kept going for 6-7 months. My opthalmologist told me to take some vitamins. I think they helped a bit but now about two weeks ago my left eye began having these spasms but now its on the lower part of my eye. What could be the problem? Also I noticed that some times (more rarely) other nerves in part of my body have little spasms  (for example in my arm or leg) , could this be related ?

The eye problem is usually related to stress and very rarely due to a neurological problem.  You should follow up with your ophthalmologist.
