eye strain and contacts

My name is Tony if you can't tell by the handle. I starting to get the feeling that my contact prescription is all wrong. I've been wearing contacts for 6 years now. Recently I've started noticing a certain strain or pressure behind my eyes, But I'm not sure how long I've had it. I notice that when I relax my eyes the pressure goes away, but my vision becomes extremely doubled. Has anyone else experienced this problem or knows whats going on? I also have an astigmatism if that helps.

It would be easy enough to find out if the prescription needs to be changed.  You just have to have an updated exam with an ophthalmologist in your area.  After that is looked into then other causes such as dry eyes, poor contact lens fit, sinusitis, allergies and other problems can be looked into.  Your problems are legitimate and you could be on the right track but an exam will be needed to answer your questions.
