My daughter (8yrs) was repeatedly going near the TV or computer to watch...so suspecious of her vision got tested and its -1.0. Is it possible to correct her vision and avoid glasses later, is there any medication, its worthy noting that she takes very limited milk and egg, also not interested in pigmented (coloured) vegetables.
The basic answer is no - you cannot correct it with medications or diet. Some may claim that exercises may help to reduce myopia but no clear scientific evidence of that. Most of the myopia is genetically determined just like eye color, height etc. She's probably like mom or dad to some degree.
