eye twitch

My eye has been twitching.  My sight seems fine, and I have had the same RX for the last couple of years.  Should I worry about the twitching?  I can't tell if it's my lid or eyeball.  I have a Dr. apt. July 9, but thought it would be good to see what people on this forum said.

It is called myokymia and is usually caused by fatigue, lack of sleep, stress, caffeine use and local irritation.  Try getting more sleep, reduce stress and absolutely avoid any drinks or medications or supplements with any stimulants.  Usually things will settle down in a few weeks or so.  I have had it before - yikes - but went away!
