eye x-ray
Need an MRI for my back, before that must get my eyes x-rayed for microscopic metal fragments. Do I treat it like a dental x-ray? Or are there any concerns I should prepare for?

Dr. Hagan will review your post. Sorry for the delay. As you know eye doctors are very much needed everywhere. We are so fortunate to benefit from his expert care.

Normally they don't get eye x rays unless you have a really really really old metal implant in the eye or a history of penetrating eye injury.

The X ray is taken just like a regular X ray of the skull, sinus or orbits.
