eyeball jumping

My husband has had a problem with his left eyeball jumping.  At first he thought it was just his lid twitching but when he looked in the mirror he noticed it was his eyeball.  This has been going on for about 4 weeks.  Would this be considered nystgmus?  Also, under his left eye is puffy - more so than the right.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tracie

Eyelid twich. Not to worry.  Eyeball twitch time to worry. Make an appointment to see an Eye MD soon. It could be nystagmus, or superior oblique myokymia.
