i don't know but , one of my dad's friends said that the doctor told him that one of his
eyes almost went blind because, he was so stressed about every little thing.
so, can the doctor actually examine your eyes and notice that your eyes  is close to
being blind because of the pressure and stress?

Hysterical blindness is a special kind of blindness caused by severe stress or shock particularly by some traumatic event, but its a neurological problem not an eye problem, also it can affect other parts of body.

such conditions can be cured to some extent by relaxation and other physiological techniques.

In the context that you asked your question no stress does not damage the eye or cause blindness. Otherwise most of we humans would be blind. Life is stressful
