floaters and flashes after retinal detachment surgery

floaters and flashes after retinal detachment surgery

My Doctor placed a gas bubble and used medical glue in my eye for my retinal detachment surgery...Ive had the bubble for 1 month and 12 days and it is now very small...

The flashes i saw 3 weeks ago are gone now....but I think i still see them guing the day (not sure) when I used to see them at night in the dark when I move my head while sleeping...dont see them anymore at night...

but I started seeing some floaters 3 days ago....I dont know if I had a pneumatic retinopexy or pars plana vitrectomy...although the RD surgery I had was done at his surgery center....i was told he is one of the best retinal specialist here in NJ....I had my surgery in his eye center and he has a surgery center/floor on the second level of his clinic/office.  But I will ask him this friday which is my next appt as to what exactly type of operation he performed.

I am however seeing spots of white light as well as a flickering white line light that is a crooked line (about a cm in length...looks more croocked now and looks like it got little longer)...i saw this same white line also before he took an ultrasound to my eye (bec he couldnt see my retina yet bec he says there was still blood in the area where the retina detached) ...after the ultrasound....the doctor said  that my retina was fine and that it looked good....so I stopped worrying after that...

BUt I still am seeing this flickering white crroked line/light though....is this from the gas bubble?  the gas bubble breaking down?  what could this white line be?  this white/line is not the flashes i used to see though...

please help...

Thank you in advance for your input and help...
