fluid on my retina

i am currently 18 weeks pregnant and my vision in my right eye has become very blurred. i saw my doctor and he said i have fluid on my retina, which he said was just a part of being pregnant, but never experienced anything like this with my frst 2 children. he said it will possibly get worse but should clear up about 6 weeks after the birth.
is there anything i can do to help the situation now?

Your problem is not normal and there are several problems some very serious that could cause your problem. You need to be evaluated tomorrow ideally by an Eye MD ophthalmologist.

You need to get peremission from your OB MD to allow the Eye MD to dilate your pupils.

Again this is highly abnormal and may indicate serious problems. The most common problem that might cause these symptoms is central serous retinopathy. (CSR)

I have heard about retina issues and pregnancy, but I don't actually know a lot about it. I would do a little research, but also I might want to call my eye doctor and ask him/her.

I did a google search and did find an article for you
