foggy/light sensitive/loss of depth perception..

hi there.
i am having some terrible eye problems, i have light sensitivity, depth perception problems, foggy, blurred vision up close, star bursts, i have intense pain in the back of my eyes and i just feel lousy all around!

this has been going on for about 5 months.  starting off with just light sensitivity, then turning into diziness, loss of cordination, loss of depth perception, random starbursts sometimes.  But, it has stopped being an on and off occurance, and turned into a 24/7 problem.  i have dropped out of my classes, bc my vision problems make it close to impossible to drive my car.  Along with it all..my vision problems are giving me supossed, "anxiety attacks"

when i say anxiety attack i mean, my vision randomly loses its depth perception or becomes hard to understand.  i freak out bc its so out of the blue, then my heart starts to race, the room spins, i have a cold sweat, my limbs go numb, 1/2 of my face goes numb sometimes and i become very confussed and disordiented.

luckily i am a full time student so i dont work right now (thank god to my lovely mother) so ive been doing the whole, "rest, exercise, eat right, drink water thing and it will go away  but...i dont have health insurance (thanks dad )  and this problem is only getting worse.  i would like some advice if anyone has any..

btw...

im 20, female, use birthcontrol, smoke a little less than a pack a day and am otherwise compltely healthy..not over weight or anything and i dont drink.

please help..anyone?

If you are a full-time student, you can purchase student health insurance.

I too agree that you need to stop smoking, but I truly doubt that is the problem.  The fact that your symptoms are in different systems points to a much larger, and much more serious problem, possibly an autoimmune or genetic disorder.

I would advise you to seek professional help immediatley.  And be sure to inquire about Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome and demand (do not ASK) an MRI.

You have no idea what if permanent damage your illness may have caused, so stop wasting time, and your quality of life by doing nothing.  And nothing IS what you are doing.
