funky pupil dilation

My 26-year-old daughter has a funky eye problem that sometimes occurs in her left eye. Her pupil randomly gets bigger and smaller, as if it it adjusting to changes in lighting, but the lighting is not changing. Her other eye does not do this. She can feel when it is happening. She goes several months without it happening, then it will happen several times daily for a few days or weeks. Naturally, it has never happened while we have been at a doctor's office. This has been going on for several years - maybe 5 years.

It is probably not serious.  However, you could see a neuro-ophthalmologist and he should be able to do some test with drops to determine the cause.
