fuzzy vision

hello,

for about 3 weeks my vision has been different.  at first i thought it was due to anxiety but it seems to be persistent.  i see what i refer to as snow, or tv like static.  it is most noticeable in a dark room but also noticeable in a very bright room.  this has been accompanied by afterimages.  also, when i wake up it is extra fuzzy for a few minutes and i have been having trouble sleeping more than a few hours at a time.  i had a full checkup by an opthamologist who did not see any problems in my eyes.  should i go back to my regular doctor?  could this be anxiety?

any advice or knowledge you can share will be helpful.

Get a second opinion from another ophthalmologist.  Also, cover each eye and see if this is in one or both eyes.

i went to another opthamologist today and the results were the same.  my eyes are dry but very healthy overall.  i have been under a lot of stress lately and have recently had a few anxiety attacks and he thought this was almost certainly the cause of my vision changes.  do you have any other opinions of what this may be?  thanks
