should i wear glasses whle reading or doing near work??
my age is 22. my no. are -1.5 in both eyes..
i developed myopia when i was 20.
at present i am not using glasses while reading. i have to read around 5hrs a day or more.
any ohter care should i take??
please reply soon.
thanx for your interest.
You are mildly myopic. You have your choice of reading with your glasses on or off. When you remove you glasses your eye doesn't have to work as hard because your myopia does 1.5 diopters of focusing. Either way is okay. I'm myopia and when I was your age I wore them for reading for convenience (not having to take off and on) but when I was really tired and had to study I took them off (less work)
