grayish vision in my left eye

by Ery844, Apr 14, 2009 04:11AM
Hi,

Would like to find out what may be the cause of grayish vision in one eye.I am wearing contact lens.

Last week, while i was working, i suddenly had a gray patch vision when i try to see with my left eye. The gray patch occurred at the top corner of my left eye. I was trying to read an alphabet for example "P" and it seems that the alphabet "P" was distorted on the top edge. I dunno how to describe this but it is the first time i am having this vision. it lasted for about 5 to 10 mins.. it didn't help in the beggining when i started to panic. i tried to calm myself down and after a while it went away. the thing is, the grey patch got obvious when i am expose to white light. To add, i have been having frequent headaches and am taking paracetamol to help.

Please advise if this is something normal or should i visit a doctor immediately.

Thank you so much! :)

That could be a very serious problem and I would suggest you see an Ophthalmologist immediately. Call today. Find one near you at www.aao.org  It could be an eye migraine or a TIA due to disease of eye, heart, brain, blood vessels.
