great day sir

hi sir, i have also the same situation as Mr. Mitch81, my phone was accidentally thrown by my sister due to her anger and it hit my right eye. i went to the ophthalmologist to next day to have my check up on it. they said that there was a cracked nerve and needed to be cured as soon as possible or else i could be blind forever.. they prescribed me three kinds of drops for the eyes which are atropine sulafate, moxiflacin hydrochlorine, prednisolone acetate.

the next day, my mom and i went to the other expert ophthalmologist, the first clinic i visited as per my observation wasnt that expert yet, so we decided to look for another expert on it..

the second physician told me to stop using the atropine.. so he suggested me to continuously use the sulafate moxiflacin hydroclorine, prednisolone acetate and after two weeks im going back to him to have check up again..

as per his observation on my eye it was clear, but my problem was my right eye was dilated.. i cant see anymore the letters if its near and with too much light.. i could barely see letter if its in big letter less light.. can my eye be in its natural form as before?  i wish it could go back on its proper sight, i a m worried.. p;0  lease help ..
thank you

Start by having your sister work on anger management. I hope she gave you a huge and sincere apology. SHAME ON HER.  Now the best thing is that your pupil and ability to focus is still being affected by the atropine which is a very strong dilator of the pupil and relaxer of the focus muscle. This is likely to be the case if your eyes are fair colored: blue, green, gray or even very light brown. In eyes like that atropine can take 3-6 weeks to wear off. It's also possible that the injury damaged permanently the muscle that makes the pupil small (constrictor) and focus to read at near (ciliary body). that can be permanent. You probably will not know for about 6-8 weeks post injury which of these it is.
