high pressure

high pressure

hi.i recently had a eye exam and when they measured my eye pressure it was high 23 in one and 25 in other noo other damage to the eye.Got a follow up appointment in 3 months. At the time my eyes were dilated does that make a differance in the eye pressure because iv had previously had my eye pressure tested without dilation and it was normal that was tested a month before this test. Is it possible that the preesure is higher when your eyes are dilated.
Should i be worried?

If the IOP was checked after dilation it could be a problem as it often raises the pressure even in normal eyes. It is custom to check IOP before dilation.

Be sure you are under the ccare of an Eye MD ophthalmologist and not an optometrist. Yes 23 is cause for concern, special tests and close observation.
