hit in the eye with a surfboard

yesterday, i was in the pool with my dad, and he had the surfboard in the pool with us. he tried standing up on it, and it fell out from under him and it shot backwards, hitting me in the eye. right away, i started getting dizzy and faint. i was bleeding. i came out from under the water, and i started screaming, my dad had to carry me to the porch. my eye is swollen on both eye lids, inside of my eye is bloodshot, looks like 2-3 blood vessels broken, and my cheek is swollen. my eye is blurry, and if you know what it looks like after getting out of a chlorine pool, and opening your eyes under water, thats what it looks like out of this one eye. i have cuts on top and bottom. its sore when i try to focus on something, and my upper cheek to my eyebrow is swollen, but my eye is swollen shut. is it worth seeing a doctor, or are they just going to tell me to ice it?

The swelling and bruising are not troubling but your vision being blurred could be serious. See an ophthalmologist tomorrow.
