how many days to take eyedrops AFTER cataract surgery

I understand that I will have to take some eye drops for 2 days prior to my cataract surgery on my right eye...about 4x a day for each one. I also understand that I will also need to take the eye drops about every 2 hours after the surgery..but the instruction I got do not say for how many days...so for how many days do I need to continue to take the eye drops AFTER my cataract surgery.

Look on the material given you. Also that is a very aggressive schedule and most drops after surgery are 4 times/day. Check with your surgeon tomorrow.

You should call your surgeon's office for direction as there is no standardized schedule for drops and even the drops differ and there is also so called "Dropless eye surgery"

Hi  I also had no idea till after surgery But all was explained after I had had my eyes done
I used my fresh pack of eye drops for four weeks after surgery One lot of drops twice per day and the other drops four times per day
I found it a real hassle for the first week But soon got used to the drops Especially as my vision seem to improve daily over the coming weeks

Instructions say I am supposed to take eyedrops (there are 2 of them) every 2 hours after surgery..man..That will keep me busy for a long time.
