i have an eye problem

Sir,
I have had this eye problem for five years now.It started with the burging out of my eye which later developed into a scar on the colour part of my eye.It was said to be due to hyperthyriodism.The surgery to remove my thyriod gland has been done.But, the scar remains with blood which i notice ever morning after waking up.

*What is causing this?
*Is there anything that can be done about the scar and the level of exposure of my eye?

Hyperthyroidism can cause an eye to "bug out" (exophthalmos) and that does not always get better with thyroid ablation with radioactive iodide or surgery.

It should not cause a scar on the iris.

You should see an eye MD ophthalmologist physician for a comprehensive eye exam and to get a proper diagnosis.
