What is your post operative residual refractive error (for distance you would expect 0.00 to -0.25 or -0.50)  and what is your vision with that refractive error

The doctor asks for more information since you don't give anyone enough information to offer any suggestions. How long ago was the surgery, could your eye still be healing from the surgery still and so you can't yet tell what the final results would be?

What exactly are you unhappy about with your vision? Is the vision not 20/20 at distance for that eye, if not what is it?  As the doctor asks, what sort of prescription would they give to correct the vision in that eye, is it like -0.5 or   -1 or +1? Unfortunately unlike with glasses&contacts where they can determine the exact lens power you need, there is no guaranteed way to   determine the right IOL power exactly before surgery for sure. They make an educated guess based on your eye measurements and statistics about what the results for other people have been. Usually for someone with moderate myopia the lens power choice should be almost correct. Not always however, unfortunately some people are just unlucky  and have atypical eyes and the formulas don't work well for them and they get the wrong lens power. Sometimes even the best doctor would have guessed wrong.

Of course sometimes there are actual mistakes, although hopefully those are rare. If you feel their measurements were wrong, you could try getting an opinion from another doctor who could run scans now and compare the results. The surgery wouldn't have changed the measurements they use to determine lens power like the a scan and corneal measurements.

If the issue is that the lens power is off then there are a variety of methods they consider to correct that if you don't wish to wear contacts/glasses. They could exchange the lens, but sometimes its better to just have a small bit of laser surgery done instead since that is less invasive than a lens replacement. Sometimes they install a piggy back lens or an ICL rather than exchanging the lens. Different doctors prefer to correct problems in different ways, and it partly depends on the patient's eye's what is the best approach for them.

If you can see 20/20 at distance with glasses no problem. You have multiple options including glasses, contacts, lasik surgery or using that eye for near and setting the other for distance. Removing a implant in an eye that has 20/20 at near without glasses and 20/20 at distance with glasses is not a good idea
