itching eyes

pls kindly let me know what is the cause of both eyes itching terribly.the itching is much severe that i have to be fruquently scratching the eye which make me very uncomfortable.I used an eye drop which made the stopped.however it has started again
please assist me.

Generaly itch = allergy. Have an eye exam by Eye MD to be sure. In USA use Zaditor for itch over the counter. Other countries ask pharmacist for eye allergy drop.
