kid with high myopia

I have 5 years old son, he is very wonderful son. since 3 years old i found out he got eyes problem.
he got high myopia, -8 in right eye and -7 in left eye also has astigmatism.
What is the best solution at this moment for my son, and what is the best solution for him in the future.
Please help me and advise.

Some (including me) fee that bifocal can slow the progression. Excessive computer games on small hand held devices may increase the progression of myopia.
