Hai I am 22 yrs old female and I went for a regular eye check up recently as I have myopia( -6.5) (My myopia only seems to be increasing ) It was found in the check up that my right eye has 7-8 holes and doctor suggested Laser treatment for the same. Since I have myopia my query I want to know what is the best way to get rid of both, myopia and retinal holes? Can u also tell me the side effects of laser treatment because I have read that in some cases it can further lead to retinal detachments in some cases. also tell me what happens if i ignore the retinal holes ? Kindly guide me. Thanks for ur time

I can't guide you on line. Get a second opinion as there is no widespread agreement of which holes in retina need treatment.

Your choices with myopia are glasses, contacts, lasik
