lasik after laser barrage
can i go for lasik for spectacles removal my no is -8.5 as i have been given treatment of laser barrage in my right eye 45 days back and i have got it checked as it is perfectly cued pls reply for lasik ?

First I would wait at least 3 months before considering LASIK. The suction ring and pressure changes induced by the procedure could lead to the formation of a retinal tear in either eye. As a high myope, these retinal tears could also occur spontaneously, without LASIK, but the LASIK procedure increases the risk somewhat. I would be sure to check with your retinal specialist first, and consider PRK as an alternative to LASIK, since PRK does not require the use of a suction ring.
