lasik if you have strabismus

by jillo60, Oct 28, 2009 01:22PM
I had unsuccessful surgery for strabismus several years ago, and was SO disappointed, because I has "visions" of having Lasik surgery after successfully having my eyes straightened, and ridding myself of my "coke bottle" prisms.

I am nearsighted in one eye, farsighted in the other, and have astigmatism. Any hope for me having Lasik surgery?  I feel that, if I see well out of both eyes, I could more successfully do the eye exercises that can help double vision.

Yes, see a good LASIK doctor.  You may need additional muscle surgery after LASIK.
