Please do not post multiple threads.  Continue on the same thread.

Yes, it can go away on its own.  However, he should be followed closely so amblyopia does not develop.

Will putting on the glasses damage his vision when it was something that could have been corrected on its own?
Making him dependant on them when he never needed  them to begin with.
If amblyopia develops how soon would it appear.

Please discuss these specific issues with your doctor.  Glasses will not damage his vision and is probably needed to keep his eye straight.  If not used during early development amblyopia may develop.  NOT USING THEM MAY damage his eyes.

My son  has started to wear glasses as of yesterday.  I would like to take him to another pediatric optomologist for a secound opinion, would it be wrong to dialate his eyes again when he just had this done last week?  How long does this effect last on his eyes? Will i be harming his eyes doing this now that he has just started his treatment?

I noticed when I looked through my sons glasses I see objects clear when there close, and blurry when far.  My husband is farsighted he also sees the same through them.  Is it possible that my son is seeing the same thing too? How is this suppose to help him? What should he be seeing through those glasses?
