lens exchange after cataract surgery

lens exchange after cataract surgery

I had cataract surgery in my right eye 3 weeks ago and although I was myopic prior to the surgery, I am now extremely farsighted and require a +3.50 diopter lens just for driving.  The surgeon was supposed to make me somewhat nearsighted in this eye because the left IOL done one month earlier also made me somewhat farsighted.
I am interested in an IOL exchange or piggyback lens in my right eye.  Is there an optimal time to do this?  Should it be done very soon or do I need to wait until I heal more?

Your eye should be completely remeasured and the IOL calculations triple checked. I would also get a second opinion to be sure that the IOL hasn't migrated out of place. Once you've done that pull the trigger on getting it fixed ASAP
