light problems

i have weird symptoms as characterized by the 2 doctors i have seen till now. i have myopia .5 and .25 in left/right eyes with Axis of 55 and 135 left /right eye.
two weeks ago i started having a problem when looking at lights from a distance especially at night, which means when i look at car lights or street lights from a distance i see a black spot in the light. this spot completely goes away when i get near the light or i wear prescription glasses with more power than the ones i should wear.
I had retina examination twice at two different doctors (dilate exam) they said there is nothing wrong and everything seems to be normal.
p.s I once had this problem for two hours then i went away that was 7 years ago...i already have floaters... my age is 31 and engaged getting married soon.

No these are not serious symptoms generally

Yes very frequently people say they see better with one pair of glasses even though its an older RX

Get a second opinion the solution is likely you need a different glasses RX more like the ones that make your symptoms go away.  JCH MD
