light sensitivity

by badger700, Jul 03, 2009 04:17AM
I am incresingly suffering from light sensitivity to the extent that I don't want to go outside. - I  have a slow developing cateract in the one eye and dry maculular (early stage) in the other.  I am also prescribed high blood pressure and chlorestoral tablets which might be contributing to the problem.  My question is can poleroid tinted overglasses help  to give a sharper view.  If do do I have to be careful about the tint?  Indoors I often use pinhole glasses which give a great relief from glare.

No those won't help. You should see an ophthalmologist for a second opinion. Likely you need another opinion.  Often this is an indication for cataract surgery.
