It is
commonCommon cold to have liquified vitreous as we get older but this process happens at an earlier age in people with high myopia like yourself. The fact that you have had a good
retinalFluorescein angiography
Retinal artery occlusion
Retinal detachment

Retinal dye injection exam makes a
retinalFluorescein angiography
Retinal artery occlusion
Retinal detachment
Retinal detachment repair
Retinal dye injection problem causing the flickering lights uncommon but this should be checked on a regular basis. I do not think the dryness is causing the flickering however.
