long term episcleritis

by dslater17, Mar 20, 2009 09:48PM
Hello, I'm a 22 yo male in good health. Last year I started to get redness in my eyes. I would have red eyes for a couple of days of the week then it would clear up. Eventually it got worse wear my eyes are red every day. There is no pain in my eyes and my vision has not suffered. I've been to a eye specialist and he told me it was episcleritis. I know this is related to an autoimmune disease but I don't suffer from any pains in my body and feel as healthy as I've ever have. Thank you for your help.

Episcleritis can occur without any system problems.
