menierre's and cataract surgery

I had cataract surgery several days ago. I also have menierre's disease.....Forth day after surgery, I became more dizzy and light headed than normal.....It's been 5 days now with no relief. I take 1/2 tablet of Maxzide 25 mg. daily and carefully watch salt intake. Could the surgery have an impact on my balance condition? If so, how long is it likely to last? Anything I can do to help? Thank you....

Your other condition affects the ear and not balance through vision.  Unless your two eyes are now very different in vision (need strong glasses in one eye but not the other) I'm not sure what it would have to do with the surgery.  Call the surgeon and ask him if he suspects something to that effect.
