mole at the back of the eye

hi.my brother turned 1 last week he is a twin the health visitor referred him to the doctors claiming he had a squint in his eye ,the doctor referred him to a specialist they put him to sleep to check wats wrong with his eye .the doctor said he has a mole in the back of his eye and there is no cure for it they will be calling back to see if it has growed any more but i want to ask is there any treatment for this mole in the back of the eye?

Moles of the back of the eye are called choroidal nevi  the great majority are benign. Some are malignant but they are usually low grade malignant.  High grade malignant moles are rare but are treated with removal of the eye, radiation therapy, or other major methods.

Look relax until you see the next ophthalmologist. These RARELY need to be treated.
