momentary loss of vision one eye

I was making a grilled cheese sandwich when my vision blurred. I took my glasses off and covered my left eye, my right eye had only a small circle of vision in the center surrounded by a blurry white cloud, this lasted 2 or 3 minutes, then vision returned starting at the top and receding to the inside corner of the eye. I noticed examing my eyes with a magnifying mirror that there is a white half moon line at the top of the inside the blue iris.

This may represent a serious problem so seek the care of an eyeMD. You do not mention your age and the diagnoses can range from transient ischemic attacks, insufficient vascular supply, hypotension, diabetes, exposure to bright light, or other issues.
