mono focal

Dear dr
i write this for my wife.she got red color in her one eye.she consult a dr.Now dr told her to wear glass because she has mono focal.what is this mono focal and if she wearing glass she should continue it for a long time or how long she want to wear that?.Expecting your kind helpful reply

I'm sorry Saleem but from the information you provide I can't answer your question. I suggest you ask the doctor that did the eye exam to answer them.

Monofocal glasses are generally worn by people younger than 42, those older usually not bifocal or tri focal or progressive multifocal lens.
