JodieJ's comment had a subtle but important bit of advice: be sure the monovision uses the same distant/near eyes as what you are used to.
My wife was prescribed contacts with monvision that was opposite of the natural monovision she had when uncorrected. The eye doc insisted that her "dominant" eye should be for distance, even though her "dominant" eye had never been great for distance.
Trying to reverse her years of monovision practice made no sense, and she gave up those lenses pretty quickly. Thank goodness they were contact lenses and not IOL's.
If monovision has worked for you for many years, why switch now? I vote for staying with what you're used to having, with reading in your dominant eye.
There is no "right" answer. IT varies with individuals. You did not cover mini-mono near bias (which is what I would choose for me but most people would not) which would be -1.00 for intermediate -2.50 for near.
Only choose classic monovision if you have worn contacts and can adjust to that big of distance.
The least indepennce would be -1.50 in both eyes. It won't be good for driving and for prolonged near work. Min- mono distance bias 0.0 and -1.50 would likely be more desirable.
