Dear lalitha17,

Lattice degeneration is a condition in which the peripheral [edge] of the retina shows thinning.  A retinal specialist [eyeMD] will be able to evaluate his eyes to determine whether or not treatment is indicated.  Please make sure to ask the doctor all of your questions.

Yes. Get the opinion of a retina surgeon. My eye has been lasered. I have almost lost the vision in the eye that was not lasered. I have lattice.

A specialist can tell you best if your husband should have this treatment.

Best,

Anna.
