my eyesight is -8 at the age of 16? Were you as high as me at 16?
hi everyone, I am 16 years old and am a -8 in both eyes. I don't know anyone else so high my age and I am beginning to worry. Should I be concerned? My eyesight seems to be getting worse every optometrist check-up which is every 6 months. I have been told my eyes will stabilise after adolesce although I am anxious to what prescription they will stabilise at. If there is anyone reading this who is higher than -8 could you kindly tell me what prescription you were when you were my age and at age your when your eyes stabilised (if they have) and what difficulties you faced? Please, I really want someone else to talk about this.
